Updates for August​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

• Tuesday, August 18th - W-ELCA visits to Bethany shut-ins.
• Sunday, August 30th - Back to School Blessing at the Bethany worship service.
• Sunday, September 6th is a joint worship at Bethany with East Lemonweir.  Worship starts at 10:30 AM with a potluck brunch following.
• Mark your calendars: September 13th is Grandparents' Day!  Bring your grandkid or any child to church day at Bethany and children can bring a grandparent or any friend/adult.  Let's play a game and enjoy some treats together following service!

 

• ​​Bethany Food Pantry theme for August: "Back to School" — peanut butter, jelly/jam, granola bars, juice boxes
• Don't forget the Bethany Blessing Box donations!   Ideas and Suggestions when donating to the Blessing Box (thinking outside of the box!).  Cans with pop tops and/or donate a can opener, spices or salt and pepper, coffee and tea bags, sugar and flour, bread, boxed milk, cake mixes and frosting, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, feminine hygiene products.  Our Blessing Box is well used by our community members.  
• Bethany is collecting items for Baby Care Kits.  Items can be placed in the cleat tote in the cloak room.  Please note the posted changes that Lutheran World Relief has requested.
• Online Giving now available at Bethany - Use the button at the top with right of the menu bar.

 

• No Bible study at Bethany until Fall.  
• Wednesday 9:00 AM-- Bethany Quilting 
• Tuesday AA meetings 6:30 PM @ East Lemonweir/ Thursday 6:30 PM @ Bethany
