Updates from May 3rd​​​​​​​​​​​​​

• Tuesday, May 5th – Rachel Circle meets at Bethany at 4:00 PM in the Conference Room.
• Saturday, May 16th - Outside clean-up day at Bethany starting at 9:00 AM.
• Sunday, May 17th - The last Family Sunday School of the season at Bethany at 10:00 AM after worship.  This month's lesson in Jesus Calls His Disciples (and also a year ending party!)
  • Parent/grandparents/aunts/uncles/friends...any adult/kid pairings welcome. All ages are welcome!
• Sunday, May 24th - Bethany and East Lemonweir will worship together at 10:30 AM at East Lemonweir.  There will be NO service at Bethany that Sunday.
• Sunday, May 31st - Recognition Sunday at Bethany with a Brunch following worship.  Celebrate all those who help around our church!
• Friday, June 12th - Salad Luncheon and Silent Purse auction at Bethany from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  join us for a variety of salads and desserts made by members of the church.  You can either eat-in or take a container to go!

 

• ​​Bethany Food Pantry theme for May: "PASTA PARTY" — package pizza dough, tomato sauce, noodles, spaghetti sauce, etc
• Don't forget to check out the W-ELCA page for the latest W-ELCA updates!
• Bethany is collecting items for Baby Care Kits.  Items can be placed in the cleat tote in the cloak room.  Please note the posted changes that Lutheran World Relief has requested.
• Online Giving now available at Bethany - Use the button at the top with right of the menu bar.
• Food for Thought... Ideas and Suggestions when donating to your local food pantry and/or Blessing Box (thinking outside of the box!).  Cans with pop tops and/or donate a can opener, spices or salt and pepper, coffee and tea bags, sugar and flour, bread, boxed milk, cake mixes and frosting, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, feminine hygiene products.
