News from June 15th

• Bethany Food Pantry theme for June:   Summertime Noodles (ok, not the floating kind) — any pasta noodles!
• Our Social Concerns Committee is starting to collect items for health kits for Lutheran World Relief. Requested items: nail clippers, individually wrapped soaps (reg. Sized bars), single wrapped toothbrushes, and dark colored bath towels.​
• June 13 - W-ELCA Salad Luncheon and Purse Auction at Bethany from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

• June 18 - (Wednesday) - W-ELCA will meet at New Lisbon Riverside Park (Hog Island Road) at 11:30 AM.  Bring a sack lunch - beverage and dessert will be provided. 
• June 22 - After worship at Bethany - Summer Fun and Yum.  Bring some noodles (like macaroni, spaghetti, etc.) to support our New Lisbon Food Pantry...

​         -  Enjoy a root beer float!
         -  Possibilities for prizes just for staying for fellowship!

• June 28 (SATURDAY) - Evening Outdoor Worship at Bethany at 6:00 PM.  This service is not a replacement for Sunday's worship but an additional time to praise God and enjoy some outdoor fellowship.
• July 6 - Service in the Park at 10:30 AM at Heritage Park (US 12 and Elm Street) in New Lisbon.  Bethany and East Lemonweir will be joined by Winding River United Methodist Church and have a joint pot-luck lunch after service.  In case of rain, the service will be held at Winding River (N6774 Germantown Rd, New Lisbon).
• July 12 - Wa Du Shuda Days at Riverside Park in New Lisbon - 12:00 Noon!

           - East Lemonweir will have an ice cream stand
           - Bethany will be handing out free bottles of water

• Lions Club has an Eyeglass Collection box in the Narthex at Bethany.  Please consider donating your used eyeglasses to this cause.​
• Wednesday 9:00 AM - Bethany Quilting 
• Thursday 9:00 AM – Bible Study at Bethany 
• Tuesday AA meetings 6:30 PM @ East Lemonweir/ Thursday 6:30 PM @ Bethany
